Assignment No. 3

      Basic Homepage

    Using your favorite text editor or word processor, prepare the HTML "tagged" text file for your basic home page. Review the sample page and your notes to complete the assignment. Your page should include at least the following elements:

    • Your name (large size, bold type face)
    • Contact information (any address, phone number, fax number, email address, or additional means by which you would like the entire world to be able to get hold of you); make sure that your email address is an active link
    • Brief biography or narrative (about one paragraph, you can link to a more verbose diatribe at a future time)
    • List of at least twelve active links to WWW URLs that have information that you find interesting and would like to share with the cyber-community. Remember, choose links that will represent your interests to everyone that "hits" your page. Include at least six links on music technology; you may use the links that you found for Assignment No. 2.

    We will be adding to these pages as the semester progresses. You'll be able to create graphics and place your picture on home page.     Your completed assignment must be FTPed to me before the start of class on Wednesday, February 26, 1996. Using "Fetch" address your assignment to:

      bach.music.ufl.edu/bach/MUS1500

    The user name and password will be given in class. Your assignment should be named as follows:

      your_last_name.html
